Bridging the Gap in 1st Grade Reading
Grades 1-2
The school year can be a hectic time. At any point in the semester, students can find themselves falling behind and playing catch-up in reading.
In this six-week Bridging the Gap in 1st Grade Reading class, students will reinforce and master the foundational reading skills—such as reading to determine how characters respond to events, compare and contrast versions of stories, use context clues to determine word meanings, and understand and comprehend text—that are required to succeed throughout the rest of the year. Whether your 1st grader is earnestly attempting to stay ahead or avoid falling behind, this class will give your student the connection they need to succeed!
