All-American Stories

Grades K-2

History is more than just names of presidents and dates of wars: it’s full of stories about how our favorite things got the way they are.

Satisfy your learner’s curiosity with weekly sessions about the history of their favorite American traditions, places, and events. How did New York become the biggest city in the country? How did the Super Bowl get its name and become the country’s biggest event? Who came up with the idea for Mount Rushmore? Each week, an expert instructor will lead an investigation and discussion of a different story that led to the America we know and love. Drop in to see this week’s topic, or come back often for more All-American Adventures.
