About Omaha Children's Museum
Since its inception in 1976, Omaha Children's Museum has been a special place where children can challenge themselves, discover how the world works and learn through play. The mission of Omaha Children's Museum is to engage the imagination and create excitement about learning. The museum's permanent exhibits include Charlie Campbell Science & Technology Center, Art Smart Center, Imagination Playground and Walker Tire & Auto Service Center. In addition to its permanent exhibits, Omaha Children's Museum offers educational programs, traveling exhibitions, field trips, outreach programs, summer camps and early childhood programs.
About the class
Big or small, bubbles astound us all! But have you ever wondered what makes these sparkly, floating spheres work, and what makes your plastic bubble wands so magic?
Just like a bubble, the answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind--and in this live, interactive session students will reach out and catch it! Join the Omaha Children's Museum for a scientific bubble lesson that's sure to pack some "pop." Students will explore the properties that give bubbles their shape and floating ability, learn some bubble tricks (and why they work), and be delighted by some explosive surprises as we experiment with different types of bubbles.
This StarCourse is no longer available.
But don’t fret… we have more classes to choose from!
