Space Club for Early Elementary Cadets
grades 2-3
Whether you’re an aspiring astronaut or just cosmically curious, you’ll find friends and fellow universe explorers in the Space Club. Over an exhilarating six weeks, Space Club will explore the wonders of our solar system, visiting planets, moons, and even the meteors and comets that orbit our sun. Buckle up your Kuiper Belt and get ready for adventure as you and your fellow space cadets explore:
Mission 1: All About the Solar System
Mission 2: Earth and the Inner Planets
Mission 3: The Sun: Our Solar System’s Superstar
Mission 4: The Gas Giants and Outer Planets
Mission 5: Moons of the Solar System
Mission 6: Asteroids, Meteors, and Dwarf Planets
Plus each week you'll find a new Cosmic Challenge in the Varsity Tutors Learning Lab, complete with a video mini-lesson to guide your independent exploration of the universe while you gear up for the next group mission.
