Description

In this class, students will explore the African-American experience from immediately after the Civil War when slaves were freed through segregation and the Civil Rights movement, and into the present. The class will cover both the triumphs of Civil Rights and the reasons that inequality still persists, as students learn through an immersive combination of storytelling and hands-on projects.
