Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went through more practice problems for diagramming and setting up logic games. We reviewed conditional reasoning concepts."
"We picked up the preparation after the student's trip. We worked on logic game sections today. I will also forward them some practice material to work on before our next meeting."
"Today, we went over the law school admission test logical reasoning and analytical reasoning strategies. We also reviewed reading comprehension."
"We reviewed basic linear and advanced linear games in detail, reviewing drills and games in the Logic Games book as well as reviewing and working through games in the Logic Games Question Type book. She is off to a great start on games, but she needs to work on concentration and persistence in trying to understand harder games. If she sticks with it and plays with it, it will become easier. It's all a matter of practice now."
"We reviewed HW that I assigned to the student from the LSAT test book that reinforced the logic games method, specifically for strict sequencing games. We then reviewed common setups for additional game types, including selection, distribution, and loose sequencing. I'm going to share HW with her to complete before we next meet on Saturday. She is picking up the material on logic games very quickly, and I believe this could be an area of strength for her moving forward. I'll work to identify more challenging games for her to tackle given that she's able to handle the easier games (regardless of type) really effectively and efficiently."
"We reviewed the basics, including conditional reasoning, necessary and sufficient conditions, and how to analyze what you're given. We went over 3 logic games. It's important to be alert, to learn from the rules you apply, and to see how several answer choices turn on the same issue."
