The student and I talked about test taking strategies and law school admissions in general. He has high goals but I think that he can do really well, so he may very well reach those goals. We worked on logic games, and he is quickly getting better than me sometimes. I am impressed with his progress and think he's on the right track.

We spent the first hour and fifteen minutes working on logic games. We followed that with forty five minutes of working on logical reasoning. There were no scores or grades since this was our first meeting. The initial diagram for the logic games was a bit of a struggle. However, she improved as the session went on.

The first half of the session we discussed the student's study plan moving forward and what materials to purchase. The student will take two to three practice exams between now and our next session. The student's biggest issue at this point is time management.

It hasn't been too long since our last appointment, but the student was able to complete a full length practice test, and we used our lesson to review that. His score continues to improve, and this time he was able to get to three logic games instead of only two. We began with logic games, going over those three, finding points in the sketches of two and the question order in another that he could improve. Then we moved on to logical reasoning, looking primarily at the question types that we've covered already: main point, role of a statement, flaw, and parallel reasoning. He's going to spend this week working on the assumption-family chapter in his review book.
