Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Although we covered physics, we also covered some pre-calculus material. For physics, we covered circuits and specifically how to determine the total amount of resistance in a circuit in parallel and in series. In addition, we also covered how the current and voltage changes across each resistor in both scenarios (series and parallel). For pre-calc, we covered different kinds of series, geometric series and regular series, as well as infinite series and discrete series. We also discussed the sums of each kind of series as well as the various means of the series."
"We completed a 23 question standardized test on impulse, momentum, and force relationships. The objective is for the student to gain confidence in reasoning his way through such tests, with both the facility with the calculations and the assurance to reason his way to the correct assumptions in characterizing the key points. He demonstrated both capabilities as we worked through the test; we will meet next week as he progresses in this phase of the course."
"Today was a short session with the student. He has a quiz Thursday and we will meet two more times before it. Today we worked on magnetic inductance and understanding amperes law. Our preparation was good because the professor tested them in exactly the material we worked on. So for the future we will keep reviewing hw problems to prepare for exams."
