Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on some homework problems involving inequalities, and we also worked problems to help her study for a test she has later this week. She is doing pretty well, just needs to focus on memorizing a few key steps in identifying the "critical" information in the problems."
"Today we discussed her results on her test from last week. She received a B. She was happy with her grade. We also discussed chapters 7 and 8. We covered accounting for bad debts (allowance for uncollectible accounts) and accounting for fixed assets."
"Discussed the following general chemistry topics: how electronegativity relates to determining melting points, the difference between bond energy and energy released from the reaction, and properties of nonmetals, metals and metalloids. Reviewed her 60 question practice test many times."
"The student and I practiced proofs today, focusing mostly on the use of theorems and symbols. She understood the material well by the end of the session! I gave her some extra practice questions in order to prepare for her test on Friday."
"We covered some physics concepts on his previous homework. He seems to struggle a bit with the fundamental concepts since what he is learning deals with vectors. We will go over the topics in more depth in future lessons."
"This session went well. As usual, the student had studied the subject thoroughly. He is progressing well and seems to understand his homework. I am looking forward to reviewing his final chapters and helping him with any remaining questions from earlier parts of the semester."
