"Today was the students first day back to school after winter break. We reviewed how to say "January" and the day of the week. We did finish our four sentences, and read part of a book that was all new material for him. We wrote one sentence about what he had read. We will continue and review the book on Thursday."
"We worked on irregular Spanish verbs and her final review packet. The student did really well. She's getting the hang of it, she's focused, and has a very positive attitude. She did the homework practice I asked her to do."
"Today we reviewed 4 of the 7 chapters that the cumulative vocabulary test this Friday will cover. We came up with tricks/devices to remember each of the words. I instructed the student to continue practicing the vocab from today so that in our session Wednesday we can review the next 3 chapters."
"We worked on Spanish for her upcoming Spanish exam. We created a study guide with all of the vocabulary and verbs that she needed to know. We focused on the new material such as estar+past participle and reviewed old material like por/para and imperfect/perfect conjugations."
"During this session we went over the preterit. She faced challenges with pronouncing and recognizing verbs in their conjugated forms. I recommended she borrow a book from the library that goes over the basics in pronunciation. Overall this session went well."
"I was very impressed today during the conversation section of our lesson. The student was applying all the proper grammar rules in his conversation. He was conjugating in the preterite, imperfect, using the correct indirect and direct pronouns. It was a really good lesson! We also worked on grammar and reading."
