"I worked with the student to prepare for an upcoming exam on complex fractions. She has a great grasp on concepts. The student just needs to relax; she'll go great. I worked with her on new postulates and homework to study for quiz."
"I worked with the student to review translations and reflections from our last meeting and we were able to practice these skills on her homework- she was able to retain what we talked about the previous week. She has not received any graded tests or quizzes back on any of the materials we have been tutoring on yet."
"In class he has started on algebraic proofs. We discussed the properties he recently learned, and then went through examples and problems to reinforce the concepts. The student has been left some pages in his practice workbook to complete before next week."
"In our first meeting, we went over the student's geometry test. I went through the problems and content she was struggling with. One section used a figure on the previous page in order to answer the questions. Unfortunately, she did not realize this until we were going over her exam. She would have done better if she knew to use the figure! Going forward, she will read the instructions more carefully. We then went over her current homework. We reviewed probability and permutations. She seemed to have a better grasp of the material after our review."
"In preparation for an upcoming quiz, we went over sections 1-3 in chapter 3. I made sure that the student remembers the concepts, and that he understands why they are correct. We did a lot of practice questions to help solidify the concepts. The student should practice analyzing the figures given, because sometimes he solves the problem a harder way because he didn't see the easier way to solve the question in the figures."
