This session was a direct follow on to the previous by going over the 2006 BC exam free response questions. We took on both sections (with and without a calculator) and reviewed how to assess and solve the problems. The biggest issue came to light that the student needs to read the question better before pursuing mathematical operations. For the next lesson, I chose that the student do the multiple choice from the 2003 exam and the free response from 2005 to practice further.

We did a few problems involving with taking the derivative using the Product rule and Quotient rule. The student seems to get the hang of using those rules when differentiating. Then we revisited on how to draw a function if the graph of the derivative is given.

We then went on to review integration and how to approach different types of problems such as indefinite integrals, definite integrals, and using u-substitution. Although she needed guidance through more difficult problems, the student understands the concepts and just needs to practice how to approach harder problems.
