Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today the student and I had a solid session! We worked through a lot of the material for the midterm coming up on Monday. We are hoping to get one more session in before the mid-term."
"In addition to discussing resources for his upcoming paper, the student and I covered Hotelling equilibrium, Cournot competition, and Stackelberg competition. We also began discussing the economic idea of a firm and its associated variable, fixed, and marginal costs. he was very amiable and interested in economics. He seemed to really appreciate the advice/instruction I was able to provide him with and he had no problems with any of the concepts we covered. I look forward to meeting with him again."
"We continued with monetary policy and systems. The student complained that she wasn't learning anything from class and needed definitions to concepts to help her understand questions. We reviewed the three tools of expansionary/contractionary policy. We then reviewed the effects these policies have on the money supply and on overall demand/GDP. She had a solid understanding after our review. We also went over combination of functions which took little effort. She just needed to know how to do such actions with graphs without looking at their respective functions. She was more comfortable with the material by the end of our session."
