"Today we started working on chapter 3, which tells you how to get places and introduces vocabulary pertaining to places around town. We did a lot of written and oral practice."
"Session 4/3: The student and I covered the difference between the preterite and imperfect tense in Spanish. I also reviewed past worksheets where some answers were not correct/not corrected. We went over these again. I told her I would find helpful handouts for her for the next session. Session 4/10: The student and I went over the difference in usage between the verbs "ser" and "estar." We also covered vocabulary. Both the vocabulary and grammar we covered were going to be tested on her exam the following day. We went over old worksheets on which she had some corrections to do. I left the student with a handout on the difference in usage between the preterite and imperfect tense so she could look over it during the next week."
"Today the student and I had our first session. We discussed his goals, which are to achieve fluency in conversational Spanish and increase his vocabulary. We will cover grammar as well. We reviewed material from a Spanish textbook today."
"We practiced Spanish conversation today. The student has an excellent pronunciation. She is able to talk and understand Spanish very well. She has to practice the verbal conjugations, and read the book "Leyendas del Mundo Hispano.""
"We read a Mexican legend and we talked about it. The student is struggling with comprehension and future tense. The student's attitude was good towards the material reviewed. I have left the student with extra practice."
"We started with sharing how our weeks went, focusing on pronunciation and grammar and conjugating verbs. We reviewed the student's homework, which went rather quickly. We then watched videocuentos. I am hoping to connect with his teacher soon to actually use materials from her class to keep the student on track."
