Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"This week the student and I went over the causes and effects the Civil War, looking at the differing economies of the North and the South; how the war stimulated the Northern economy and destroyed the Southern; as well as the social changes the war brought on. We also went over the war itself; the changing strategies and the different command structures of the Confederate and Union armies. It was a particularly productive session in that we were able to cover an entire chapter, where in the past we fell short of time."
"We covered the social changes and introductions of new technology in the 1920s US. Additionally, we reviewed the previous sections of the chapter in order to refresh the student. I left the student to review the reading, including the changes in roles of women in society, as well as the art and literature created by the Lost Generation. In the next session we will continue our review of the Harlem Revolution."
"The student and I worked on an assignment to accompany reading from his US History text book on Lyndon Johnson and the Great Society. We then studied for the upcoming test he has in science on the visible light spectrum and the periodic table."
