"We studied the subjunctive mood. We covered the ending of modal verbs and examples. We completed exercises in this topic. The student grasped the content very quickly. At the beginning she had some trouble with the stem changing verbs, but at the end her performance was excellent. She needs to keep in mind the strategies to remember the stem and the endings of the subjunctive. We will continue to work on that. She seemed very focused and worked hard."
"The client is studying for his upcoming Spanish II exam and also has a project where he has to choose a festival and describe it and how he would prepare himself for it using reflexive verbs. He wrote the script and I helped walk him through translating it. We made sure to closely follow the instructor's instructions on using unit vocabulary and verbs. We also practiced and reinforced verbs that he needs to know for his exam."
"We covered more of the new vocabulary. We covered more present perfect (have/has + verb). We also practiced new vocabulary using flashcards. The student needed help with some of the more complex or unusual vocabulary terms and words, but made improvement. We did flashcards both ways (English to Spanish and vice versa) for extra practice. I suggested that she keep on studying using the flashcards for extra practice. She is doing better and her self confidence shows. Her understanding of words and phrases have improved overall since the last session. Keep up the good work!"
"The student did great in this session. We mainly covered material from her notes and book to prepare for her Spanish test Friday."
"Today, the student had started a new section of Spanish vocabulary and needed help completing 7 online exercises. After briefly going through the vocab list, we started doing the exercises together. She said that her class had been exposed to the vocabulary words enough times over the past week, and she didn't have too much trouble completing the exercises. With a little bit more studying I think she will do just fine on her vocab quiz next week!"
"The student and I studied for her test tomorrow, which is on the present indicative, subjunctive, and imperfect subjunctive tenses. She did great and could answer all of my practice questions. From there, she worked on her homework that is due Friday and she just about completed it all. She still has recording exercises to do and needs to clarify with her teacher about two of the questions. Great job and good luck!"
