"Topics covered: The pronoun "en". Where to put pronouns in simple, composed and infinitive sentences, positive and negative. History: Christopher Columbus questions."
"We conducted preparation for the student's test next week. We worked on the formation of the imparfait past tense, practice activities, and formation of the verb vivre - "to live.""
"We reviewed past tests and quizzes, definite and indefinite articles, and irregular verbs. The final test is this week."
"We focused mostly on Spanish today. I taught the student some of the essential preposition words, along with two new verbs (to begin and to go) and how to conjugate them. He says his immersion-style class just isn't doing it for him, and I'm not surprised; immersion is tough to get right anyways, and it works much better with younger ages. I'm glad to teach him some of the essentials that he may not be able to pick up contextually in the immersion setting. Afterwards, we worked on an algebra problem, and I helped him with some of the matrix information he missed out on in class last week. I'll find a more formal explanation of matrix algebra before next week's session."
"We had a great session today, where we mainly prepared for the quiz that the student has tomorrow on Spanish verbs that function like "gustar," and by the end he seemed more than ready. We also spent some time working on direct and indirect object pronouns, after he mentioned that he had some trouble with those recently in class. We also did a few exercises on the language app and the flashcard app."
"We have just concluded our first tutoring session. We went over conjugating ser and gustar. I would like to practice more on those conjugations next time. I asked additional questions to expand his vocabulary and to solidify his comprehension of the conjugation."
