"The student and I covered a great deal of new grammar and vocabulary in this session. His book is getting increasingly advanced, and as there are longer and more varied reading assignments, there are also more opportunities to practice pronunciation. He continues to do well in his class."
"The student is keeping up with his homework, tests and some of the tasks I have been giving him, but he struggles with vocab and grammar from beginning levels of Chinese. We discussed some aids that will help him in this area and I gave him some more resources to use. His class will be very helpful in reviewing foundational vocab and grammar, but will be too slow. I will organize some other supplemental material for him to do online to reinforce fundamental vocab and grammar retention so that he will be more functional in class. These will include daily quizzes, games, and activities online to help him put everything into context."
"Finished off chapter five with grammar and presentational exercises. Student and I also worked on two writing exercises. We worked on intonation and reviewed chapters 1-5."
