Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Circuits. Lots of circuits covered including equivalent circuits and Kirchhoff's loop rules. Circuits can be a difficult subject to grasp but this student is always enthusiastic."
" We went over electron configurations, periodic trends, and bonding. With electron configurations we reviewed, Heisenberg uncertainty, Pauli exclusion, Hund's Rule, and Aufbau Rule and their applications. Also we covered ionic versus covalent bonding and lots of practice understanding the difference and determining chemical formulas. We spent the last 1/3 of the session working on developing a sufficient study guide for the upcoming test."
"I worked with the student briefly on her online math quiz, and then focused on her science project. She had to make an analogy with the different organelles in the cell, so sketched a detailed drawing of an airplane that we assigned to analogous parts of the cell (i.e. cockpit was the nucleus). Very fun session!"
