"The student and I reviewed a document based question on who started the World War I. We worked on analyzing each source and answered questions 1 and 2. For homework, he is to complete questions 3 and 6."
"In today's lesson the student and I finished the practice test started last week. We went over each question, with me asking the student if he understood the question and I explained the historical concept, event or person. Then I had him answer it and if he answered correctly had him explain his answer. If he answered incorrectly then I tried to steer him to the correct answer without giving it to him. I added details and context when necessary. At the end we reviewed some concepts and I gave some suggestions."
"Today, the student and I worked on a review of DBQ (document based question) and methods used to annotate. She quickly grasped the material and the appropriate methods of annotation. As always, she was eager to learn the material. We also talked about annotating documents. She scored an A on the material that was tutored last week. She is gradually progressing with regards to studying history efficiently."
