Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I discussed reading comprehension strategies and worked on a couple of passages and associated questions. We also discussed his practice plans going forward. He is picking up the key elements of the test."
"The student and I mostly covered logic games. She has a good grasp on many of the concepts, but needs to learn how to apply them. She is very excited to get better and reached the right answer after a little prompting. Simplifying the test and slowing down to fully digest all of the information will be key to her success. We can definitely achieve this by replacing some of the more convoluted concepts she has learned with a uniform set of methods to go into each question with. I assigned her a full practice test to do before our next session. I look forward to continuing work with the student!"
"We began our lesson with a brief overview of the Reading Comprehension section and a discussion of various time management and answer selection strategies. We also reviewed annotation strategies. The remainder of the lesson was spent with Logical Reasoning. We paid some extra attention to the "flawed reasoning" question type and also spent some time reviewing formal conditional logic."
