Hi, my name is Sarah, and I'd love to work with you! I have a great deal of experience working as a volunteer tutor at my schools, and I love to help people learn. Hopefully we can work together to make test taking and study as painless and successful as they can be!

I am a passionate, enthusiastic, and empathetic tutor with experience working with students from all backgrounds. As a former high school teacher, I am intimately familiar with the challenges presented by math and science classes, and I am determined to help others overcome these challenges. My tutoring style is instructive but entertaining, as my students will testify.

I'm currently a rising junior at Cornell studying computer science. I love all things math and science and I hope to share that with you!

Outside of my academic life, I am a big sports fan and I mostly follow the New York sports teams. For fun, I like to play basketball and golf with my friends. I graduated in 2013 from Bowdoin College with a degree in mathematics. I have previously tutored for a variety of subjects including, math and science courses. I also have experience as an SAT tutor. I believe patience, empathy, sincerity, and detailed knowledge are all keys to make tutoring successful for a student. Outside of academia I enjoy writing, drawing or painting, going to the theater, and traveling.
