Hi! My name is Lillie Curtis, and I am a junior at Duke University, pursuing a double major in Psychology and Biology on the pre-med track. With over 2 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in Elementary School Math and Science, High School Biology, and essay editing. My tutoring journey began during the pandemic when I helped local elementary students adapt to online learning. I believe in tailoring lessons to the individual needs of each student, utilizing engaging, hands-on activities for younger learners and fostering deeper discussions with older students. My passion for science, particularly biology, drives my enthusiasm for teaching, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable exploring their curiosity. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy working as a summer camp counselor, which has further enriched my ability to connect with students of all ages.
