Certified Tutor
I'm passionate about helping students because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to unlock their full potential with encouragement, curiosity, and the right guidance. My journey in education has taken me from teaching 6th grade math to guiding kindergarteners through their first academic adventures, to empowering teachers as an instructional technology coach. These diverse experiences have taught me how to meet learners exactly where they arewhether it's building confidence in early literacy or mastering Microsoft Office skills online.
I have a bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and two Masters degrees from Liberty University; one in Elementary Education and the other in Teaching and Learning: Educational Technology and Online Instruction.
My teaching philosophy centers around patience, creativity, and connection. I aim to create an atmosphere where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow from them. I tailor my tutoring style to each child's needs, drawing from hands-on strategies, real-world applications, and a dose of humor and encouragement. Whether it's decoding tricky science concepts or building a paragraph, I celebrate the small victories with my students, knowing that every step forward matters.

Outside of the classroom, I love diving into creative projects—from writing elegant code that solves complex problems with a dash of artistry to drawing and painting. I’m a big fan of board games, especially the kind that spark strategy, laughter, and connection. Whether I’m designing from scratch, learning something new just for the joy of it, or cheering on a student’s breakthrough, I believe in curiosity, creativity, and celebrating every step of growth.
