As an educator with a Master's in Education from Johns Hopkins University, I have over 2 years of experience in elementary special education in Baltimore City public schools. My approach centers on building strong relationships with my students while employing data-driven instructional practices to tailor lessons to their individual needs and interests. I believe that literacy is foundational to a student's success, and I strive to make learning engaging by integrating various subjects into my lessons. My commitment to helping students with disabilities reach their full potential motivates me daily. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy exploring new teaching strategies and engaging in professional development to continually refine my practice.
