I am a graduate of Western New Mexico University, holding both an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This strong foundation in nursing directly fuels my commitment to teaching Math, Science, and Nursing-related subjects.

My career path has centered on empowering others through knowledge. Working directly with patients as an ER nurse, I constantly found myself explaining complex conditions and treatments at the bedside, adapting to high-stress situations. Similarly, in wellness education roles, I focused on translating health science into actionable steps for diverse community groups. These experiences ingrained in me a deep compassionate understanding of the unique difficulties people face when learning new, challenging material whether grasping anatomy during a crisis or understanding preventative care.

Naturally, I feel most energized when tutoring Math, Science, and Nursing. These aren't just academic subjects; they form the essential backbone of evidence-based practice and safe patient care. Helping students master this knowledge is vital it empowers them to genuinely improve lives and community health outcomes. My approach is rooted in patience and a core belief: with dedicated time and the right support, anyone can overcome learning hurdles and grasp seemingly difficult concepts. I love seeing the moment a challenging theory clicks into place during a tutoring session.

I am a firm advocate for education as the key to unlocking personal potential and professional growth. My goal is always to build not just subject competence, but also a lasting confidence and appreciation for learning. When I'm not teaching or nursing, you'll find me exploring new cultures through travel, experimenting with international cooking, staying active with volleyball, or finding balance through yoga and Pilates.
