I am a graduate of the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science and am currently studying ECE at Cornell University. I strongly believe that every student has the potential to excel and enjoy working closely with students to achieve their goals. I tutor in a broad range of subjects and am especially passionate about helping students prepare for the SAT or ACT, having taken both, and STEM subjects such as math and CS. I emphasize deeper understanding of material through challenging students to not only understand how to do a problem but why. Overall, I aim to build positive relationships between my students and learning; I lead with the mindset that while the path of learning may be challenging, it is also fun and incredibly rewarding.

Hobbies

I love helping people and am on the Cornell Assistive Technologies project team, using engineering to make our world more accessible. In addition to STEM, I have a strong passion for visual arts (unfortunately the affinity for music has eluded me), from painting to embroidery and beading. I have also been a dancer for 15 years, in styles including ballet, jazz, acro, and Chinese traditional, and lion dance.
