Saoirse: Frankfort tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a sophomore at The College of William and Mary studying International Relations and French & Francophone Studies. Growing up with younger siblings, I have spent years tutoring at the kitchen table but began working with students more formally during my senior year of high school and completed my senior capstone as an aide in a French classroom. The majority of my experience is as a French tutor, but I am equally passionate about history (specifically, AP World and AP US History). I am a firm believer that enthusiasm and passion are two of the most important qualities in a tutor, and my goal is to get students excited about learning. I also know that every student is unique, and that there is no one universal teaching or learning method; I meet each student where they are at and tailor my teaching to their individual needs. Outside of academics, I am an avid reader and will devour almost any historical fiction novel. I also love to sing with my university's choir and swim in my spare time.
