Certified Tutor

I am an incoming Sophomore at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying Chemical Engineering. I have always had a passion for teaching and learning, and have past experience teaching and demonstrating chemistry to elementary schoolers. Currently, I am tutoring chemistry, physics, algebra, and calculus. I am most passionate about physics as I really enjoy the problem solving and explanatory power of the subject. As a tutor, I hope to provide my students with the tools and problem solving abilities they need to reliably solve the problems they may face in class. Rather than simply telling the answer to a question, I prefer to walk the student through the thought process behind the answer, and then allow them to walk me through their thinking on a different problem. In my free time, I like to peruse Wikipedia and play video games.
