As a passionate Spanish tutor with over 15 years of experience working with children to children ages 5-15. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and am a certified medical interpreter. My teaching philosophy centers on a conversation-based approach, which I believe is essential for effective language acquisition. I engage students through interactive dialogues, encouraging them to ask and answer questions, thereby building their confidence and fluency. I also offer worksheets, books and journals for extra work at home.

Beyond tutoring, I have a strong interest in gymnastics coaching, where I enjoy working with children and instilling a love for learning in a fun environment. This dual focus on language and coaching reflects my belief that education should be both engaging and supportive, enabling students to thrive academically and personally.
