I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). I majored in Professional and Technical Writing and interned at The Writing Center at UALR for three years, assisting students and non-students in becoming better writers. I have experience in writing scholarship essays and was awarded enough funds to help pay for my education. Thanks to that experience, I am currently a grant writer with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences technology transfer office, BioVentures. I have co-authored federal grants, including a grant that was funded $2.39 million.
