Mathematics has always been more than numbers to me it's a language that builds logic, discipline, and confidence. As a tutor, I'm passionate about helping students master math by making it approachable, engaging, and tailored to their individual learning styles. I've taught students at various levels, from middle school fundamentals to high school subjects like Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I've also helped students prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT Math section, guiding them to improve both accuracy and speed through personalized strategies and practice.
My teaching journey includes working at Best Brains Learning Center and Kumon, where I delivered one-on-one and small group math instruction. These roles taught me how to break down complex concepts and build a strong foundation in each student whether they're catching up or looking to get ahead.
My tutoring style is patient, structured, and confidence-building. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and mindset. I focus on understanding, not memorization, and aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow from them.
Outside of tutoring, I study Computational Modeling and Data Analytics at Virginia Tech, where I apply mathematical reasoning in projects ranging from aerospace design to data analysis. I bring this same analytical approach into my tutoring showing students how math connects to real-world applications.
