Certified Tutor

I am a current undergraduate student attending Hofstra University. I will graduate in Spring of 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a focus in Neuropsychology and a minor in Music. I believe learning is unique to an individual and it is important to understand and utilize strategies that are best for a person's learning style. I tutor in the natural sciences as well as assist with ACT and AP test preparation. I am particularly passionate about Psychology and Biology and find the scientific process to be exhilarating! My goal as a tutor is to not only help students understand the material on a conceptual basis but to also help them develop strategies for learning and studying that best fit their unique ways of thinking. As a neurodivergent individual, I am passionate about accepting and accommodating all forms of learning and thinking and I understand that every student has unique educational needs. Outside of coursework and tutoring, I enjoy a variety of creative activities like singing, composing music, acting, and crocheting. When time permits, you may also find me playing video games or organizing my trading card collection.
