I am a software engineer with over three years of experience. I received my master's degree in engineering from Texas State University, San Marcos. During my last summer there, I did an internship at a startup which focused on educating young adults (high school and college students) about the wonderful world of AI. I was one of the graduate mentors. I then went on to have a similar mentoring experience at another startup. These opportunities helped me learn how to effectively communicate a technical concept to an uninitiated audience in a short period of time. I realized quite early in my career that I enjoy working with young, bright minded individuals as their hunger for consuming new information always excites me and drives me to become an even better educator. Thanks to my machine learning experience in graduate school and my software development experience in the industry, I have gained a strong foundation of the Python programming language. I would love to teach Python to new and upcoming programmers and help them build the future, one step at a time.
