Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. I obtained my degree in Immunology. I find Biology and Immunology extremely interesting and think a basic understanding of these subjects is necessary to help navigate the complexities of modern life. I also have a master's degree in Immunology from the University of Khartoum, Sudan.
My experience in teaching includes teaching Biology labs when I was a PhD candidate in UMass Amherst. During my master's degree, I set up and ran an Immunology workshop for students and supervised student-led seminars.
In all my experiences, I held office hours to provide support to students and help clarify any topics they had trouble with.
I am passionate about teaching and truly believe it is a noble endeavor. My favorite teaching memories are the times when I see that "aha moment" on a student's face when they suddenly understand a concept that they had trouble with.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hanging out with my family and traveling.
