Hi! I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a major in Computer Science in Engineering. Throughout my courses, I have completed several programming projects in the C++ and Python languages with partners and larger teams. Something I especially enjoyed about these projects was the process of planning and debugging code with my teammates, and I am eager to apply these experience to helping students learn how to program in these languages. As a tutor, my strategy to helping students is to act more as a coding partner instead of a teacher. I look to work together with students to reach a solution or desired output in their code as opposed to lecturing them on programming fundamentals. Aside from working as a tutor, I enjoy playing basketball, watching sports and tv, and performing standup comedy.
