I am a dedicated and adaptable English Language Arts tutor with a strong background in supporting learners across a wide academic range from early elementary students to undergraduate writers. My experience includes helping young learners build foundational reading and writing skills through phonics-based instruction, guided reading, and interactive literacy strategies that encourage both skill development and confidence.
In addition to my work with elementary students, I have also tutored at the university level in writing centers, where I supported undergraduates with academic writing, research organization, and revision strategies. This range of experience allows me to understand and support the full progression of literacy development from learning to read to writing with clarity and purpose.
I approach each tutoring session with patience, empathy, and a focus on individualized instruction. When I’m not tutoring, you’ll usually find me with a book in hand—or talking about one on my bookish podcast! I’m a big fan of mythology and love diving into stories that blend imagination with history. I also write creatively for fun, whether it’s short stories, poems, or the occasional half-finished novel. To balance out all that reading and writing, I enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors—fresh air is my favorite cure for writer’s block!
