Being a Brigham Young University graduate in Elementary education, a previous professional educator (5th grade and 1st grade) and a mom of two toddlers, I am passionate about helping children discover a love for learning. Not only do I want them to succeed in academics, but it's important to me to make learning FUN and become a life-long love and pursuit. Due to my elementary education background, I am proficient in any elementary subject (reading, writing, math, science, social studies, etc.). I have found that my teaching style gravitates toward movement and visuals, especially for my elementary aged students. They need to be able to learn through a lot of movement and play, which is not always what students experience in a traditional academic setting. I hope to provide a more suitable experience for your child's learning needs.

When I'm not out playing with my husband and children, I love music and theater! I am in a community theater play at the moment, and it has truly been a joy to have that experience! I love singing, playing piano, and writing my own music! I also dapple in drawing and painting occasionally. I love being creative.
