Certified Tutor

I am a college educated Graphic Designer and currently a professional Motion Designer and animator. I got my BFA at Montana State University Bozeman in 2020 where I studied Graphic Design under the current Department Chair of Communication Design at The Pratt Institute, Meta Newhouse.

I have a lot of experience teaching all ages things relating to art and design. I spent multiple years teaching K-6 art history and art principles. I also taught improv comedy to highschool and college students. You would be surprised how much improv can help you be a good tutor, cracking jokes is an important skill!

I am tutoring Adobe Illustrator, basic design fundamentals, and illustration. I have a wealth of experience teaching these concepts and of course teaching the program itself and can help make it a lot of fun and can teach you skills that will take students beyond the program itself!

I had the pleasure of traveling with my professors during my studies to Italy where I continued my education for a semester. I met many incredible designers and gained a great deal of skill and perspective on design during my travels. From physical printmaking to creating animations and studying design history I really was fortunate to immerse myself in my craft while traveling.

I love to help people learn at the end of the day. Learning doesn't have to be frustrating and I think it is incredibly empowering to learn how to create art and design. Everyone has fun creative ideas and I feel fortunate to be able to guide people on their path to making their ideas reality!
