Certified Tutor

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy graduate of the University of Houston College of Pharmacy with a BS in Biology from Louisiana State University. I have 2 years of post-graduate residency training with a specialty in emergency medicine and a board certification in critical care, along with 8 years of experience at the bedside. I have served as a tutor for students from undergraduate through pharmacy school, then frequently as a preceptor to students and residents. While I tutor a broad range of pharmacological subjects, I am most passionate about infectious disease, cardio/neurovascular disease, and toxicology. As a tutor, my goal is not only to prepare my learners for the short-term exam but ensure they understand the topic thoroughly enough to translate the information to clinical rotations and patients. I enjoy lifting heavy things, playing with dogs, and avoiding injury on the pickleball court.
