Amanda: Vermont tutor
Certified Tutor
Hi! My name is Amanda, and I'm excited to support you on your learning journey. I have a Bachelor's degree in Public Health with a minor in Health Sciences from the University of South Florida, and a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Central Florida.
I've been tutoring students in math, reading, and writing for several years, but my true specialty is math. I've worked with students at all levels in subjects like pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and more. I began tutoring in high school and continued throughout college because I genuinely enjoy helping others understand challenging material and build their confidence.
My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing from them. I believe that with the right guidance, every student can succeed.
If you're looking for a tutor who is patient, encouraging, and passionate about helping you reach your goalsI'm here to help!

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, exploring new foods, and traveling to experience different cultures. I’m also an avid runner and currently training for the New York City Marathon—an exciting personal milestone! Staying active helps me stay focused and energized in all areas of life. As a proud Yankees fan, I love catching a game whenever I can. These interests help me stay balanced, motivated, and bring a positive, well-rounded approach to everything I do—including helping students reach their academic goals.
