With an MFA in Creative Writing and a robust teaching portfolio, I am deeply committed to empowering students to achieve their academic and personal learning goals. My teaching journey spans diverse settings, from K-8 classrooms to ESL instruction, both domestically and internationally. Holding a TEFL certification, I have had the privilege of teaching in Syria and Egypt, as well as working with Chinese students in an online setting.

My passion lies in fostering a profound understanding of the English languageits grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Equally, I thrive on helping students develop their unique writing voices, guiding them to express themselves confidently through essay writing. I believe that education is not just an academic pursuit but a lifelong commitment to growth and enrichment.

To me, teaching is about creating meaningful and impactful experiences that inspire students to embrace learning as an essential cornerstone of a well-lived life.
