Ahmad: McKinney tutor
Certified Tutor
As a physician-scientist with a deep background in neuroscience, psychology, and medical education, I bring over five years of experience tutoring students at all academic levelsfrom middle schoolers exploring biology for the first time to graduate students preparing for the USMLE. I specialize in breaking down complex topics like brain function, behavior, and decision-making into clear, relatable lessonsoften with a touch of humor.
My goal is not just to teach facts, but to spark curiosity and build real understanding. Whether I'm helping a high schooler prepare for AP Psychology or guiding a pre-med student through neuroanatomy, I adapt my approach to match each learner's style and pace.
My approach is always tailored to the learner's level and goals, and I take pride in creating a comfortable, motivating space for them to grow. Education, to me, is not just about passing testsit's about building confidence, skills, and a lasting interest in the subject.
If you're looking for a tutor who combines expert knowledge with enthusiasm and a people-first mindset, I'd be honored to work with you or your student!

Graduate Degree: alexandria faculty of medicine - Doctor of Medicine, Community Health and Preventive Medicine
When I’m not teaching or in the lab, you’ll probably find me experimenting in the kitchen—I love cooking and baking, especially trying out new flavors and techniques. I also enjoy soccer and swimming to stay active, and I’m passionate about photography and travel, always eager to explore new cultures and perspectives. I have a strong interest in communication, logic, and philosophy—often diving into big questions about how we think, reason, and live. I enjoy engaging in debates, graphic design, and sharing knowledge in creative ways. Teaching isn’t just a profession for me—it’s something I naturally gravitate toward in everything I do.
