Certified Tutor

I am currently working towards my education certificate. I received a BA in English and an MPA, focused on public policy, from New York University. I'd love to use my degrees and experience working in publishing and government to tutor you. I have tutored extensively as a volunteer, working on everything from high school literacy to homework help. I also minored in Spanish, studied in Madrid, and have worked extensively in Central America. I took additional course work in professional Spanish. My philosophy is to meet you where you are.

I like to understand pain points and customize lessons to cater to your goals. That's why we are working one on one. I love working with people and seeing that "light bulb" go off. If it's reading comprehension, comparative government, time management or verb tenses, I'm happy to help!
