Alexandra: Nassau County tutor
Certified Tutor
I am currently pursuing a degree in Sustainability with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy, alongside a pre-law track. I also hold certifications in computer programming, renewable energy, and sustainable innovation. My education has equipped me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation that allows me to approach tutoring with both analytical depth and creative problem-solving.
I've worked with students of various ages and learning styles, offering support in subjects ranging from environmental science and writing to Spanish and math. I particularly enjoy tutoring environmental topics and writing because they allow students to connect abstract ideas to real-world issuessomething I'm deeply passionate about. I aim to make complex concepts approachable by breaking them down into digestible steps and tailoring lessons to fit each student's pace and interests.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and adaptable. I believe learning should be collaborative and empowering, helping students build confidence as well as subject knowledge. I value curiosity and strive to foster a learning environment that encourages questions, exploration, and growth.

Undergraduate Degree: University of South Florida-Main Campus - Bachelor of Science, Sustainability Studies
Outside of tutoring, I am deeply passionate about environmentalism and spend as much time as possible outdoors. Whether it’s surfing, scuba diving, lifting, practicing yoga, or enjoying a beach day, I thrive in nature and bring that enthusiasm into my teaching. If I’m not working, you’ll likely find me outside, embracing the world I’m so passionate about protecting.
