I am so excited to help you on your academic journey. I am a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin studying Biology on the pre-med track. During high school, I spent much of my time outside of school as a teacher. I taught piano lessons during my summers, taught Taekwondo to younger students for 4 years, and spent my senior year as an academic tutor. I focus on teaching math and science courses, since those are the main subjects I took in high school and am taking now as a freshman at UT. I will focus on teaching biology, chemistry, and math from pre-algebra up to AP Calculus. As a tutor, I place a high emphasis on ensuring that my students are able to understand concepts from a variety of angles. I tailor my teachings to the students' specific learning style and will focus on explaining concepts in a variety of ways until the student understands. I believe that practice will solidify the content, so practice questions will be crucial. I will also help students in improving their SAT and ACT math. I understand the importance of having a strong teacher when learning, so I will do everything I can to help every single one of my students. In my free time, I enjoy lifting weights at the gym and playing the piano.
