Certified Tutor

I am currently a in my third year at Utah State University studying Math Education. My degree is a combination of challenging upper-level math classes and classes that focus on the pedagogy of math education. As part of my education I was in a middle school math classroom last semester. My main role was to tutor students who were behind, teach lessons, and bring energy to the classroom. I pride myself on being able to make learning fun and engaging! The main reason I aspire to be a math teacher is because I love watching students grow and learn as they work through something challenging. I love helping people accomplish their goals and succeed. As someone who has taken a significant amount of math classes, I know what it is like to struggle and not understand the material. Because of this, I am patient and kind to the students I work with. I have no problems explaining a concept multiple times until it sticks! I am excited to work with you!
