As a high school history teacher, I believe that understanding the past is essential to navigating the present and shaping the future. My teaching style brings history to lifeconnecting major events to real-world issues, encouraging critical thinking, and sparking meaningful discussion. I strive to create a classroom environment where every student feels respected, challenged, and inspired to ask questions. Whether we're analyzing primary sources or diving into debates, my goal is to make history engaging, relevant, and empowering. I'm passionate about helping students develop not just knowledge, but also the skills they'll carry into college, careers, and civic life.

Outside the classroom, I’m all about balance and fun. I love spending time with my dogs, catching a good horror movie, and cheering on the New York Rangers during hockey season. Music is a big part of my life—I try to get to as many concerts as I can—and I’m always up for an adventure, especially when it involves traveling to new places. Whether I’m exploring a new city or just relaxing with my dogs, I believe downtime is just as important as hard work.
