Certified Tutor

I am a Ph.D. Student in Mathematics at Florida Atlantic University. I have been tutoring/ teaching math since my undergraduate studies.

I have always enjoyed helping others in understanding and improving in Mathematics. I currently teach and tutor Mathematics at Florida Atlantic University as a graduate teaching assistant. This includes topics such as Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Calculus 1 and 2, and Differential Equations.

I have also taught and tutored high school and middle school mathematics including Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus.

When I teach I usually take on the method of scaffolding which is the idea of showing, then working together with the student, then allowing for the student to work independently. My aim as a tutor/teacher is for the student to eventually not have to rely on me and be an independent learner.
