I hold a Ph.D. in Communication and a Master's degree in Statistics from The University of Texas at Austin, where I also taught as a Graduate Researcher & Instructor.

I specialize in tutoring graduate-level and college-level statistics, middle school math, ESL (English as a Second Language), Mandarin Chinese, Public Speaking, and GRE preparation. One of my favorite subjects to tutor is statistics, because it equips students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can be applied in many real-world situations. I also enjoy helping students prepare for the GRE, where we work together to develop strong quantitative and verbal skills essential for success on the exam.

My teaching philosophy centers around adaptability and patience. I believe in tailoring lessons to meet each student's unique needs, helping them build confidence while mastering the material. I strive to create a collaborative learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and actively participate.

Outside of academics, I am a huge Longhorns football fan. I like sports and activities that allow me to connect with nature, such as running and taking long walks, and visiting coffee shops for a moment of relaxation. My personal interests help me bring balance to my life and maintain a calm, positive attitude that I carry into my tutoring sessions.
